I recently collaborated with Walden Design, led by Jami Kibbe and his incredible team, to transform my backyard into a luxurious outdoor living space, and the results have exceeded my expectations. Jami and his crew did an excellent job. From the planning and drawing phase all the way through to the install. Fantastic crew! Answered all our questions, showed up on time, completed the project on time and on budget. This is the second time that we have hired Walden Design. Always great and easy to work with.

They did our shed foundation, stone steps/hardscape, and our new, EGLE-approved, rock seawall. They were easy to work with, trustworthy, friendly, dependable, thorough, and did top quality work. What a great design well executed. My yard was quite swampy, and difficult to maintain. The beautiful stone retaining walls, drainage and beautiful new sod has made my yard Beautiful. From some small projects, like removing a flower bed, to larger projects like the new drainage system for our backyard, Jami and Troy made sure it was well done, timely and competitively priced (they even had to repair work done by other landscapers). My wife loved the seasonal flowers put in after the spring cleanups.

I would highly recommend Walden Design! We worked with them on an outdoor patio and the surrounding landscaping. I LOVE IT!! The staff is very professional and did an amazing job on the design and build! The workers were respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They also coordinated very well with our builder to figure out a tricky transition from our deck to the patio. We will hire them again for any future projects.

It was a pleasure to work with Walden Design! We purchased a shed which required a foundation/pad be put down first. Walden Design was recommended, however, as we live in Byron Center, we tried a local landscaper first. That was a waste of time as the estimate was WAY WAY over what was required. From my initial contact with Walden Design, I was pleased and encouraged. EVERYONE I spoke with was kind and knowledgeable. This includes the person who took my initial call, to the person who scoped out the project to the men that leveled the ground and poured the crushed concrete. So even though we had to pay additional for mileage being more than 10 miles away, it was so worthwhile. I highly recommend Walden Design.
